Cecelia Wheeler is a writer and director from Seattle, Washington. A graduate of Columbia University’s Film MFA program and 2026 Sundance Screenwriters Lab fellow, her work has received support from Indian Paintbrush and the Sloan Foundation. She is interested in creating characters who want to be bigger than themselves, contrasting small moral dilemmas against the grandeur of nature, and finding the strange moments of optimism and tenderness that erupt under strain.
